2018 Operation Christmas Child Event Recap

On behalf of the entire team here at Serafini Financial Group, I would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all those who participated in our 2018 Operation Christmas Child event. It was exciting to see so many new and familiar faces work together to fill 1,000 shoeboxes….in under 90 minutes!

We also want to send out a special thank you to Maranatha Brethren Church, the Chambersburg Operation Christmas Child warehouse, and www.tkstoybox.com. Each played a big role in making this year’s event possible.

Immediately following our event, all 1,000 shoeboxes were transported to Good Shepherd Ministries on Longmeadow Road in Hagerstown. The volunteers at Good Shepherd Ministries collect these shoeboxes, as well as shoeboxes donated from other local sources, and deliver them to the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Baltimore.

Teams of volunteers at the Processing Center in Baltimore then screen each box and prepare them for international shipping. Shoeboxes are ultimately shipped to National Leadership Teams in countries around the world for final delivery to children in need.

Thank you again for being a part of the amazing network of volunteers that make the Operation Christmas Child ministry possible. We hope to see you next year!
